This notice explains what personal data tournamentstats.co.uk collects, why, and what you can do about it. It's written to be plain and short rather than exhaustive — if anything is unclear, get in touch.

1. Who we are

TournamentStats.co.uk is an independently run data project based in the UK. For data protection purposes, we're the "controller" of any personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

This website itself doesn't use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message.

If you use the TournamentStats API, your account, billing, and usage data is handled entirely by RapidAPI as the platform you sign up and pay through — we never see your payment details, and you should refer to RapidAPI's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.

3. Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your message. We don't use contact form submissions for marketing, don't add you to a mailing list, and don't share them with any third party.

4. Legal basis

We process this data under legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you've directly sent us is a reasonable and expected use of the information you provided for that purpose.

5. How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and are deleted once resolved unless there's a good reason to keep a record (for example, an ongoing data-correction thread).

6. Who your data is shared with

Nobody. Messages are sent by our web server directly to our own mailbox. We don't use third-party form or marketing services, and we don't sell or share your data.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do any of these, email us at the address on the contact page. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the "last updated" date above will reflect it.
